Improving the lives of foster children and their families
|
| |
Dear Randy,
As Spring rolls into our lives it reminds me of the
special privilege we have every day to serve God's
children! The newness of life, the hope of Easter, and
the changing colors all remind me of the new hope
that is offered to the children we serve. Thank you
for your partnership in bringing the "newness" of abundannt life to the children and families we serve.
Below are stories and opportunities to partner in
bringing children the hope of Jesus. Perhaps you will
join us in a motorcycle ride, maybe volunteer for
CARENET, possibly become a foster parent or an
investor ... whatever you do, know that you are
blessing the children and transforming the community
through the sacrifice of your time, talent and
treasure.
For King and Kingdom!
Randy

CARENET Success Story |

Providing services and resources to foster children returning to their families...
We received a referral for the Melendez family in
Delano. The family was referred by thier attorney and
social worker due to progress in their case plan for
reunification. There was one hitch - they did not
have the furniture to receive the children into their
homes. This is where CARENET came in!
Through the efforts of local volunteers like Bill
Servadio, partnering churches like Canyon Hills,First
United Methodist Church in Delano, and Casa Del
Alfaero Church in Delano, the family was provided
needed furniture and prayer for a successful
transition. Through unity and service we have
touched a family and the heart of God! Thanks for
your service, prayer and provision!

Creating Positive Memories in the lives of foster children
Royal Family Kids' Camp 2006 is just around the
corner. This year we will be moving the camp to El
Camino Pines which will allow us to take 50 foster
children from Kern County to a week of summer camp.
As we prepare for RFKC we need your support in
prayer and partnership. Last Saturday, April 22nd was
the beginning of the RFKC training season. Our team
of 50 volunteers spent the day together learning,
praying and getting our hearts, minds and bodies
ready for service to the children. Please keep the
team in prayer as we continue to grow together.
